The wisdom of play in the workplace

Studies have found that creativity can release unexplored potential and provides the doorway to abstract and critical thinking skills- skills that our future leaders need to innovate, connect and transform organisations. Many of the challenges they encounter in the workplace require developing creative solutions to complex problems. All leaders need find their own voice and show high levels of personal integrity, self-confidence and the courage to speak up when necessary.  Everyone knows that an empowered individual is more motivated, confident, emotionally capable, more self-actualising and all in all, a much better leader.

Utilising creative practices for leadership can reclaim or expand a sense of experimentation, playfulness and wonder. These mental states are essential for ongoing innovation, strategic renewal, creative cooperation and collaboration.
