Philosophical Inquiry

The master in the art of living makes little distinction between their work and their play, their labour and their leisure, their mind and their body, their education and their recreation, their love and their religion. They hardly know which is which. They simply pursue their vision of excellence at whatever they do, leaving others to decide whether they are working or playing. To the master they are always doing both.

James A. Michener

Philosophical Inquiry is a powerful approach to personal growth, leadership and self-mastery.

Unlike goal-oriented techniques, this meandering and exploratory method is ideal for individuals seeking balance across all areas of their lives.

It invites those who are willing to engage in the demanding work of understanding their own dynamics and cultivating deeper connections with themselves, others, and the world.

PI offers techniques to generate and recognize ideas, transform them into meaningful actions, and clarify the often elusive realm of emotions and thoughts.

This process fosters a balanced approach to life, unveiling patterns of thoughts and behaviors, and nurturing a profound level of self-awareness.

It also opens doors to creativity and innovation, both in our personal lives and within organizational contexts.

Philosophical inquiry supports:

  • Identification of specific challenge areas and the establishment of deliberate practices to address them
  • Measurable outcomes to observe personal growth and improvement over time
  • Playful approaches to navigating life’s difficulties
  • Techniques for staying fully present and engaged in the moment

Timing

I recommend a minimum participation of

two sessions per month

for at least three months                 to begin experiencing the benefits.

For deep and lasting change, clients often find great value in continuing the journey for 6-9 months.

Philosophical inquiry is an ideal method for those committed to self-mastery, embracing the exploration of their own complexities, and opening themselves to the vast possibilities for personal growth, meaningful connections, and positive change in themselves and the world.
